Negative news is everywhere in the media, it can get you down, stress you and wear you out. Not sure what tier you are in, can you meet others and what rules apply in your area? On top of the shorter days, colder and wetter weather it can become a vicious circle of worry and anxiety.
I am a firm believer that thinking positive and acting in a positive manner can be infectious and create a chain reaction that can affect people in a good way for their health and wellbeing. Small actions can have the biggest impact, think about Captain Tom Moore and what started out as a walk round the garden to raise £1000 by his 100th Birthday and ended up raising over £30 million. What about Rainbows for the NHS campaign to show solidarity for our NHS workers. it was lovely to see all the rainbows on social media, kids chalking them on the pavements and all the different pictures in their windows. It made me smile every time when I walked past them.
So, for November the Care Designs team as setting ourselves a challenge to help spread a bit of positivity via our social media channels. It gives us a chance to talk and reflect on things like a nice day out and also set us some tasks to do during the month to bring a bit of sparkle and cheer. We hope it lifts your spirits and inspires you to do the same or share your positivity with us or others.
