How to make a Royal Coronation cake in 10 minutes!

To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III you might be having a street party or friends and family round for tea where you want a special treat to look great on the table. But if you don't have much time to prepare we can save the day with our 10 minute Royal Cake make!

To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III you might be having a street party or friends and family round for tea where you want a special treat to look great on the table. But if you don't have much time to prepare we can save the day with our 10 minute Royal Cake make!

Instructions:

Buy a pre-made Madeira cake from the supermarket

If it's rectangular, cut it in half horizontally and lay the two halves flat next to eachother

Mix 250g of Ricotta (or Mascapone cheese) cheese and a table spoon of icing sugar in a bowl until smooth and fluffy and spread evenly over the sponge cake

Wash and slice in half about 14 strawberries and/or raspberries so you get about 28 fruit pieces

Lay the fruit on the top of the cake in the Union Jack flag shape.
